Does anybody every read this, or did you find it through a search engine? Well, I don't use it anymore, if the dates on the posts were any indication. lol This began in 2003 or so when I was in 10th grade, but I'll keep this because I may like to come by every once in a while to reminisce and whatnot.

If you're interested in what I'm doing now, please check my other blog on this same account, which has the URL that this one used to have: In search of Quality. Thanks!

Blooooooooood...I mean-- Bloooooooooog.

It's been long enough. *checks last date* Yup, over a month, in fact. I think it's safe to say that keeping this page updated will take more than a little effort on my part, and I apoligize to all of you who have been coming here and looking for a new post for ages. Occasionally, I only get on to talk and check a few things, and either I don't have time to think about my day, I never get around to it, or the most popular reason, I forget to do it. Yeah...bad memory.

More than a few things have happened during this long time that I havn't updated, heh, most of which I'll probably be forgetting. Makes me kind of regret posting earlier, because this very well could be a long post. TAKE A SEAT, FOLKS! xD

Let me try to think waaaaaaaayyy back. I'm pretty sure that I went to the beach with my family as well as a friend of their's family. We meet up all the time, and me and my brother grew up with their two kids, also guys and around our age. The swimming was...honestly, rather cold, and the weather wasn't that good, either. The sand was horrible for skim boarding, the water was too rough for boogy boarding (the older of the kids got a huge bloody nose and hurt his back when he got caught in the waves), and the beach house was full of barking from my dog. What salvation was there?! But fate had a plan in mind. The afternoon after my friend got hurt in the morning, he was back on his feet, and ready to take me with him down to the board walk in Ocean City. So, we hung out there for a bit, then we went inside of an under 21 dance club at around 8:30. Oh...my...god. The dance club was so much fun. Even though I hardly danced, and even then I made a completely fool of myself, the atmosphere was awsome with everything dark and lights flickering, along with artificial fog and the music playing really loud. The dancing there was suggestive, but I kinda liked it o_O and even hanging out was fun enough for me. When you went into the middle of the floor, it was so freaking hot that you would come out sweating after only a few seconds. After a while, we decided to go to the dance club across the street, which was aparent at once how crappy it was, and there was barely anyone there anyway. So after a while, we left, and got yelled at by our parents for coming home late.

But we did it again, hehehehehe. Two nights later, we went back out to Ocean City, went into H2O, and spent our whole time there hanging out for close to 2 and a half hours. This time, there were a LOT more people there, a LOT more suggestive dancing, and it was a heck of a lot hotter and sweatier from all of the body heat. Admittidly, not as many good looking women were there, and not as many danced in the cages, but it was intense nonetheless. In fact, my friend even picked up a girl there, and when we left, he tried catching the bus that he assured me she had gotten on, but it turned out that it was too packed. He had her number, though. Not sure what ever happened between them, heh.

Skip ahead a couple weeks. I decide to go to Anime Expo, an anime convention held in Baltimore for a weekend of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, of which I decided to go Saturday. Wearing my new Ricer shirt that I got in Ocean City before going into the club, I went in without any plans on meeting anyone, and hoping that I'd run into someone I knew. Big...mistake. Luckily, I had my friend Alex's cel phone number, so I hung out with him most of the time, but I never ran into the friend I was hoping to see, which is saying a lot considering I was at the convention for 11 hours. What did I do...hmm, well, other than hanging out with my friend and walking around, I went into a Bandai conference, saw some episodes of Trouble Chocolate (kinda like Excel Saga in a way but less insane), watched the full-length feature of GTO live action movie, ate some pizza, hung out in the dealer's room (where you buy anime, manga, swords, T-shirts, etc.), bought an episode guide to the first 5 episodes of Cowboy Bebop, and just walked around. It was a whole lot of fun, and I've never seen so much anime in my entire life, not mention so much expensive ones. I was just thinking to myself that I could preview something here and buy it on ANIMEniacs. Good, old, cheap site. ^_^ In the meantime, my mom spent her whole 11 hour day shopping near the convention (what else is new?) and saw two movies while she was at it. o_O Sea Buiscut and...American Wedding. Yes, my mom saw American Wedding after telling me that she was going to see a chick flick. I cannot believe she saw it before me, which I should mention that I havn't even seen yet. ~_~"

Speaking of anime, I should mention that I bought a few animes near the end of the summer for both me and two of my good friends from my old neighborhood. We bought Rurouni Kenshin (me), G-Gundam Perfect TV (my friend, Frans), Neon Genesis Evangelion Perfect TV and Movies (Frans), Cowboy Bebop Perfect TV and Movie (Frans), Berserk Perfect TV (my friend, Wesley), First of the North Star Perfect TV (150 fucking episodes!!!...Wesley), Fist of the North Star Movie (Wesley), Gundam Z Perfect TV (Wesley), Samurai Deeper Kyo Perfect TV (Wesley), and the Five Star Stories Movie (Wesley), coming to a grand total of...472 dollars. ~_~' And that's only the beginning -- as soon as I got them in, they insisted that I go over to my friend Frans's house and watch them all! Not ALL, mind you, but some of every anime. So, I went over to his house, we ate hamburgers for dinner, then watched some anime, then played some video games, then got another friend to come over, played some more video games, watched some anime, played some games, watched more anime, went to Giant and got some pizza and cheese and pepperonis (damn, I envy their closeness to everything), then took the pizza and added a whole bunch of stuff to it including the whole bag of mazerella cheese, some gratted chedder cheese, and whole bunch of sauce, and some hot sauce, then cut the pizza into 3 halves and just made a complete mess. After this, we went downstairs and played some more games, some watched some anime until about 5 in the morning, then went to sleep only to be wakened by my little brother at 8 since he was dropped off by his friend's dad, then watched some MORE anime. In the process, I got a much better idea of different animes, and what I now wanted. Phew, that was a great day for anime; we even took a picture of all of the anime that we purchased.

And then...was school. Dun dun duuuuuun. We started school on the 26th when I had just enough time to shave off the rest of my sumemr homework, and finally started my Junior year. My teachers arn't that bad. Let's go through them one by one, shall we? ~_^ yes, I have a lot of time... Okay, first up is Mr. Jones, who teachers Advanced Drawing and Painting. Not much to say here, I had him last year, and he's pretty cool and very leniant, and I get good grades; hey, it's drawing, I don't fret. Second period is mr Pecchio who teacher Honors American Literature. Pecchio is probably my favorite teacher because he's funny and easy-going, and he's my first male English teacher so I'm wondering if this will cause me to still hate English this year, but he admittidly does give us a lot of homework. Mrs. Loveless teaches 3rd period Honors Pre-Cal. The teacher knows what she's doing, much more that Hurley last year, and the point gets across during class, well enough for the homework to be very simple; that's what matters more than anything, I think, except that she waits until the bell to give homework, and I have Lunch next period! Mr. Stroh is the teacher of JAVA programming during 5th period. I had him last year for Computer Lit, and he's a cool teacher, but oftentimes goes a little quickly when reviewing something and expects you to already know too many things. 6th period is Mr. Whidden with College Prep. If the course isn't strange enough, this guy doesn't really know too much about what he's doing, so it's kind of a pain to hear sloppy directions on what we're supposed to do, but luckily we get to switch to Karcesky for the next 2 weeks doing the Math version. Honors American History is 7th period with Ms. Whalen. Honestly, she is the oldest teacher I've ever had, and while she certainly knows her stuff, she expects you to know many prior things that deal with the subject, and makes you do too much work; luckily, she's an easy grader. The last period of the day is Mr. Everett with Honors Physics. If this guy wasn't married to another teacher in the building, I'd probably come to other conslusions through his femininism, but he's kinda cool, and I actually past a quiz recently where I bull shitted every answer because I had no idea what he was talking about despite having a pretty good idea during the homework.

Now lets combine anime and school, heh. Anime club is unfortuanately going down the same path as last year without a steady sponser, meaning that it cannot be an official club like it was 2 years ago when I joined because of what I heard on the announcements. I'm the Vice President this year, but that doesn't mean anything if we can't find a good sponder soon that will be able to do it once a week on a day such as Friday. We're only looking for male teachers, and if you're wondering, it's because they'll most likely allow us to watch more in terms of violence, blood, and cussing. Maybe the occasional...yeah...but I don't want to scare off a new sponser so easily. O_o;; Right now we have two teachers in mind that I've had previous years. One is Mr. Kaweki who is the best teacher in the entire school, since he's cool and we barely do anything in class. I'm sure that he'd let a lot of stuff that we watch fly, but he's very demanding when he wants to be, but lets hope it doesn't come to that. He has an AP class to run, and he has to talk to his wife, though, but it's a deffinite possibility. Besides, being a sponser doesn't mean you have to watch the shows, you just need to let us borrow your room once a week and make sure we don't get out of control. Plus, we may give you a free slice of pizza every once in a while. ^_^ The other teacher, Mr. Nelson, is another cool teacher, but ended off on sort of a bad note near the end of the year last year with all of this homework and stuff, but we're holding off asking him until we get a deffinite yes or no with Kaweki, who, to be perfectly honest, doesn't sound like he'll be able to do it, but anything is worth a shot now.

The last thing I'll be talking about for the time being is that my birthday is coming up not this Friday, but the following. On my list is Soul Calibur 2, the movies Snatch and Fight club, and the animes Berserk, Hellsing, and Kenshin OVAs. Knowing that it takes about a week for these animes to be ordered from the site I buy them at, I've already ordered them, ensuring that I'll get all of my animes, hehehehe. Hopefully we'll have a sponser by the time we get them and be able to watch them in anime club. We've actually already had one meeting, but that was with a temperary sponser named Mr. Samons. I don't think he can do it, though, because of sports or something. Damn these teachers/coaches!

So yeah, here's my super long ass blog post. Enjoy.

Let's get this Blog updated..

Shy wanted me to post in my blog again, so bleh. I hope you're happy! ~_^

So, what's been going on...Well, first of all, I'm sure if you read this blog in the past, you'll know that I went on vacation in California and met up with Shy in Disneyland. Everything went according to plan, and it was so fun meeting someone from the internet, especially Shy, heh. We both planned to go to Disneyland on the same day, which was my 3rd full day in Cali, and had tuns of fun going on rides. You should have seen how fast we were getting on them, too, lol. Other than Disneyland, we went to such parks as SeaWorld and Universal Studios, and while those were fun, Disneyland was deffinitly the highlight. I'm also so jealous of their weather! It seems that it is rarely cold there, and even rarer are days when it rains. The temperature is very consistant -- not too cold, but not too warm either. So yeah, that was fun.

Another point of interest is how much I've been putting into driving since I got my learners. I'm driving every day now, whenever we go out somewhere, save the few days that I lost my wallet with my learners in it. I suppose I like it a lot more than I thought I would, and it comes so naturally to me. Also, the fact that I have to get 40 hours done in 4 months is something that I want to get out of the way as soon as possible.

Next, I got a dog recently. It's my first dog, so I was kind of hesitant at first when my brother brought home a puppy, but it's doing alright. Dogs deffinitly require a lot more attention than cats do, of which I already have 2, but I'm still not sure at this point how that's going to turn out. The puppy has shown no sign of interest whatsoever in even noting the existance of that cats, but one of my cats in general is very scared of him, and I've got the scratches to prove it. The dog is half lab, half golden retriever, and has sort of a semi-dark orange fur coat. He is 8 and a half weeks old, and is currently named Spike, not to be confused with the string of dog names, but rather named after Spike Spiegal, the main character of my favorite anime to date.

Speaking of anime, I'm thinking about soon getting Rurouni Kenshin on DVD. It's a rather large anime, if you know about it, and spawns approxomately 95 episodes. How much will this cost, you ask? Well, thanks to ANIMEniacs, I can get it dubbed for a dollar an episode, heh. I love that site..and I hope to love this anime as well. I just need a few more weeks of allowance to pay for it.

Getting to the topic of...OtakuBoards! OB is cool, I've been hangning out there all day every day, posting in just about every forum. Moderating has become a force of habit, and I usually find myself closing a thread in another forum, but I hope those mods don't mind. Everyone on the forum is very friendly, and with the well awaiting v7 fast approaching, I'm glad to be watching it from a first-hand glance as a moderator. TheOtaku.com is also going to a new version, and from the looks of it, the launch is going to coincide. Props to both Adam and James!

I've been saving this topic for last, bleh. I'm sure many of you are wondering how Mei is, and, honestly, 15 minutes ago I would have been delighted to say how kind she's been, how pretty she is, and pretty much brag about her, but now..I don't know..I've been in contact with a friend of hers and it seems as though she doesn't want to pursue the relationship further. What does that mean, you ask? Well, for one, I can forget about going to meet her, or about how this whole thing would go if we were going out in real life. From what I'm hearing, she sees me as an online friend that she can just extort the only love that I con provide online. I'm a font, basically. If I was real and we went to the same school, I doubt that we would have met up anyway, but if it was the case that we got close online, maybe, just maybe we would have a chance of being together. I'll have to talk to her when she comes online, though I'm very much dreading it, knowing full well that she will either deny what she said to her friend or go into the topic even DEEPER. So if you talk to me, I may not be at 100%..Hear that? I think that was the sound of my heart...breaking...

I'm getting Married!!!

Okay, before I say anything, this blog setup thing has completely changed. I'm not sure if I like it or not, we'll have to see how everything works out.

Anyway, as I was saying, I'm getting married! Well, not married married, but more like an internet deal. See, I met this girl that goes to OtakuBoards a couple weeks ago, and we talked back and forth, then two nights ago I randomly proposed, since I really needed a wife to fit in with everyone else, and this girl, Mei, seemed perfect. She accepted, and tommarrow night I will be getting married. ^_^ I've already sent an invitation to practically everyone that I know who chats, and we're getting ready for the big day. Mei is more than I could have imagined. She's beautiful, intelligent, and we share common interests; it's as though this relationship could exist in real life, though I know that's impossible due to how far away she lives (Oklahoma, with me in Maryland). I talk to her all the time now, and everyone has been really supposrtive of this online relationship. ^^; We won't let a two year age difference stop us from...wait, I just lost track, she's as old as my little brother! Though luckily she is in a grade ahead of him. Anyway, Mei, or Rachael, is really great, and I hope to make this marrige last a long time.

Next order of buisness, I got my Learners Permit today down at the MVA. We had to wait three hours, but it was worth it, now I just feel scared that I'm going to injur someone behind the whell of one of these things. My first actual time on the road will be this Saturday with my Drivers Ed instructor, but my mom may take me out earlier to go around parking lots or something. Just where ever no one can see me is okay with me, lol.

Also, I'll be leaving for California in less than a week. I have to decide what to pack, pack it, and find out what all I'm taking in the bag that I'm bringing onto the plane with me. After that, it's off to California, where I havn't been since I was a baby, and where we will no doubt be trying to see everything is a short amount of time. The thing I deffinitly won't be able to wait for is Wednesday when we go to Disney Land, and Shy and I become the first Super Mods on OtakuBoards to meet. it's going to be so awsome; on a side note, I tried to get Juu to come on that day as well, but she will be leaving Disney Land before I get there.

As for video games, I'm back to playing Metroid Prime now that I understand what I need to do. I have to find all twelve peices of the artifact, and I have 10 so far, and on the trail for the second to last one. I've forgotten just how much fun that game is, and how eager I am for them to make another Metroid for GC. Oh yeah, I've been talking with my brother about buying a used XBox for Christmas, and buying Halo and Halo 2. I recently played Halo over the weekend, and once I figured out how to play, I found what everyone else has been marveling about this game. And if this is good, I can only imagine what the second one will be like. :)

Well, that's all for now. Here I am, at 1:30 in the morning, posting on OB and waiting for Mei to come back online. She said she would, but where is she?!?! I miss her already, how will I make it through California?? Something tells me that never being in a relationship before has been leaving me a lot more anxious that i should be, or could it be something more? o.o'

Drivers Education

Guess where I have gone for the past three nights? Well, that's damn obvious - OtakuBoards! Oh yeah, and then I go off to Drivers Ed for an hour or two...or three. I guess it's alright; I mean, the teacher is cool, but there's just something about being stuck in a classroom for a long time over and above the 6 hours I get in school. And then at the end of the day, we have to do worksheets and take tests on something he barely covered. Some of the worksheets I didn't even finish, but luckily I havn't got less than an 80 on my test, had I done so I would have to take the final test. Eh, there's always the chance that I'll screw up sometime in the next 6 classes. As for the driving itself, I'm schedualed to drive the day before I leave to Cali, and the two days after I return.

I did my speech on The Matrix universe last Monday in English class, and I thought I did pretty good. I was able to memorize all that I needed to, and rarely messed up, and then I had this awsome visual where I passed around jellybeans (red or blue pill). Although the girls were able to see how "cute" my visual was, I guess the teacher saw what crap the rest of my presentation was and gave me an 83. Not the worst grade, but I thought I did good! I even kept within the time limit...

I talked to Art today as I was coming out of, wait for it...Art! He's the vice-president of my school's anime club, and he told me that the sponsor we have now will be able to host it right from the start next year, and I will get to be the vice-president! Yay! Not surprising, though, considering the amount of anime I curently own. Which reminds me...I need to get a bunch more anime; I havn't got any for a while.

I think that's it for a while. I was hoping to get the Animatrix, but no dice. Oh, and if anyone out there knows how I would put up my archive in this layout, halla back.

Matrix is Still on the Mind

Hey, it seems that I'm not able to update this nearly as much as I'd like to. Oh well, when I get a chance to write something, I will.

I beat the Matrix game shortly after my last blog post, and then I beat it with Niobe after that. The game is very easy, just time consuming when going through the whole thing. I expected Niobe's file to be a whole different storyline, but to my disapointment, 60% of it at least is the exact same as Ghost's. It added some more cut-scenes, and expanded on the story, but I just didn't want to do it all over again. Of course, I ended up doing it anyway, and then I saw the movie again. Now everything is making a whole lot more sense, and I'm thinking about writing a book on it over the summer. In school, I'm planning on doing my speech in English tommarrow about The Matrix universe, and on Friday I had people in my Algebra II class rate the movie from 1-10. Don't worry; these were both mandatory assignments, I just decided to do them on The Matrix. The Animatrix is coming out this Tuesday, which I am planning to get no matter what. It is composed of 9 short Matrix-like films created by the greatest anime directors of our time, including the men behind Cowboy Bebop and Princess Mononoke.

Last week I went on a little vacation, which was cool. On Friday, I got out of school early to head up to Pennsylvania, where we spent the night in a hotel and went to my Dad's Mom's family reunion the next day. There, it was alright, but after a few hours, it got kind of boring since we were the youngest there. We went back home (5 hours away) that afternoon and spent the night in our own beds, and fed the cats. Then on Sunday, we turned right back around and went to the beach, which I havn't been to since last Summer. We had a fun time staying in the beach house, but it was cloudy on Sunday and Monday so we couldn't go to the beach. On Tuesday, we extended our vacation at the beach, and the sun finally came out. We spend a good hour on the beach, and even though the water was much too cold for swimming, we had a good time. That afternoon, we came on home.

School was a nightmare for the first few days of the week. I had to make up work for my classes for a day that a missed, sometimes two days since I left early on Friday as well. I think I'm back on track by now, though. Oh, and we found this instant messenger type of thing in my computer class, used for Networked computers. That junk is tight, lol. :-p

Probably the biggest news that I have is that I am starting Driver's Ed on Monday, so that I can get a certificate that allows me to then get my learners. I better get good at Gran Turismo 3 in the meantime; I hear drivers are better if they have played driving video games. Something about looking ahead or something, as long as it gives me an excuse to play video games, I don't care.

People Love the Matrix

Well, after today, I know that I'm one of 4 people that own Enter the Matrix, which is pretty cool considering I don't have to explain it to them, or convince them why I bought it in the first place. They thought the game was alright, but two of them have already beaten it, saying that there was a clip at the end for Revolutions. The other person hasn't gotten that far, and it's good to know that I'm at least ahead of somebody. The thing is, though, it's a pretty easy game and can be beaten in just a few days on normal difficulty. I think the game just gets better with the level, and even though it's still basically doing the same things, they are introducing new scenarios and objectives that make it a lot more fun. The story line is improving as well, and I just love watching the cut-scenes.

As for the movie, most people I know liked it a lot. A few people loved it, telling me that I was stupid not to, but when I said I got the game, Nate said, "Of course, your obsessed with that movie." -_- I found out later that he had just been playing around, and that he always says the exact opposite as sort of a joke. Do I even know who he is now?! o_O Almost everyone agreed that it was a much more confusing movie than the first, and if you didn't understand it or didn't see the first one, you wouldn't like it. As time passes, I'm understanding more and more of the story-line, and I'd really like to see the movie again after I finish the game, for a final conclusion of comprehension, so to speak. It's a great series, and I think the Wahcowski brothers are doing a good job by kind of leaving you satisfied in the first movie, confused i the second, and will hopefully bring it all together in the third film. We shall see.

Waking up late was great this morning. For some reason, I woke up at my usual time, probably because my brother came into my room and was messin around, and because I forgot to turn off my alarm. Better do that now while I'm thinking about it. School was...alright. It was ok. Normal. Average. Like every time before it. The didn't have English or History which was, I must say, fantastic. I have them tommorrow though, and I also have to eat lunch in the gym or something. I think I'm going to bring my lunch...

Argh

You aparently didn't wish me enough luck for my soccer game last night because we didn't win. We didn't lose, either, but at one point we were winning! So yeah, we ended up tieing them one to one. I got close to scoring a few times, but never got it in. The reason we lost is because we didn't have one person, lol. Since we didn't have one of our midfield players, it screwed up the whole set-up, and I had to go in for midfield a couple times, which I absolutely hate since I have to run up and down the field constantly. In any case, I'm still not sure why we didn't win, since we've scrimmigged this team in the past so we should have been ready, but I suppose not. Oh well, better than losing..

I am getting further and further into Enter the Matrix, and after playing it a lot today and yesterday, I'm on the second disk with Ghost, and about 3/4 done more or less. The game's graphics are deffinitly getting better and better, and so are the cut-scenes. The game itself it pretty good too, but it's basically the same things. I've decided to give this game a break, so as to have something to do on my car trip later this month. We just bring a TV, my systems, and a couple adapters, and we can play video games in the car, making long car trips a god send. We are planning to go to the family reunion in Pensylvania, and then go to the beach, so it will be a long, fun trip. I can't find my skim board, though, and I'm just hoping that this means that it is at the beach house.

In other news, I just remembered that I can sleep in a lot tommarrow ><;. Because of Freshman and Senior testing, there is a late bus tier that comes three hours late, and the only time I have to get up at the regular time is Friday, which is my Geometry exam. I suppoose the rest of my testing will be going on later or something. The bad thing about this week, however, is that on Tuesday and Thursday, EVERYONE eats lunch at the exact same time. Freshman, Sophmores, Juniors, and Seniors, all filling up the lunch lines and no where to eat. I'll probably end up bringing my lunch for the first time since my last field trip, I guess. Other than that, however, I havn't brought my lunch on a regular day since...damn, must have been elementary school. o_O

Enter the Matrix

Guess what game I got today, lol. Yup, Enter the Matrix, the video game based off The Matrix: Reloaded, but from a different point of view, that of Ghost and Niobe. The two characters were rarely in the movie itself, which raises qeustions about why they are in the game, but in some cases it's better not to be playing as the all-powerfull Neo, and it unloacks more elements of the deep story-line. The idea of the game is absolutely fantastic. It is clear that it is very polished from the time you boot up your system, from things such as the beginning video to how you load up your game or choose your character. The Wachowski brothers do a very good job of keeping you into the game, by bringing in cut-scenes that were actually filmed, and looking as if they could have been in the movie itself. In the playable parts, close hand combat is very fun with the inclusion of the Focus meter, a meter that decreases when you slow down time, but goes back up slowly afterwards. While slowing down time, it allows you to execute much stronger and awsome moves, and you can even dodge bullets. It is deffinitly an original tool added to a video game (maybe Max Payne is similar, but I've never played it) and it brings you back to your Matrix fantasies. That's where the good parts end, however. Despite being able to change the controls, it is very difficult to control your character, as you turn slowly, and they are very jumpy. When fighting a bad guy, it seems like you are doing the same things over and over again. The levels also feel repetative in the sense that they arn't that detailed, and it's like going through a maze or something. As you can see, it's good that the Wachowski brothers directed the game, but they could have done better with the game developer. Although they tried, they really tried. lol

In other news, I might as well have had my soccer practice today. After winning by 6 goals (we arn't allowed to go over that number, or they take off our final score, like we would usually get 3 points for a win, but if we go over we'd only get 2) we were just playing around with the ball, passing it to each other. The team was awful; we scored 4 goals in the first 5 minutes, and I pretty much assisted all of them, but did I get credit? NOOoooooo. In any case, we ended up winning 8-2, but I didn't score any goals. We have a game tommarrow too, which I hope will be easy, but not this easy. Wish me luck. :)

Oh, and I was planning to get The Matrix on DVD, since I just have it on VHS without the 'Making of' stuff. However, when I got there, I learned it was sold out (o_O) so I'll just save my money and get the Animatrix when it comes out. Those 9 films look awsome, and by world renowned anime directors such as the one who made Cowboy Bebop, no less. I don't see how I could not get it.

Been a While

Hey hey, havn't been here in FOREVER, eh? I don't know how much HTML I remember after all this time. ><;

Let's see, what have I done since my last update...well, for one, I got a GameCube, which is absolutely amazing. So far, the games I own are Metroid Prime, Super Smash Bros. Melee, The Legend of Zelda: OoT/ OoT Master Quest, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and Splinter Cel. GameCube clearly has much better graphics than PS2, and their good games are fantastic games, such as Metroid Prime. We also already have four WaveBird controllers, and a GameCube - GameBoy Advance link cable, so we're set, we as in my brother and I. Speaking of GameBoy Advance, we recently got an SP. You'd be surprised how much you REALLY need that backlight.

What else...well, school ends the 19th of June, and I'm eagerly awaiting that date. I think that I havn't been doing that well this quarter, and there are few days left before exams start. The sooner the 19th comes, the better. Let's just leave it at that, lol. ;)

I saw The Matrix: Reloaded last Wednesday as part of the midnight showing, even though it was at 10:00 pm. It was a good movie, but I much prefered the first one. In the sequal, they focused a lot sex and comedy, and the huge fight scenes got kind of bland and boring after a while. The movie was also extremely confusing, and very hard to understand when you first see it. After the movie, however, I went on the net and read a little more about it, catching up on all the confusing parts. Since then, I've come to the conclusion that I rather enjoyed the movie, and suppose that most of the things I didn't like were filled up when I caught onto the story line. The first is still better, though, heh. Oh, and if you stay through the credits, they have a preview for the third film. Of course, I didn't know about it and missed out. I hope to see the movie again soon for both the preview and to go through the confusing parts once again for clarification.

I've been doing Love Hina summaries for theOtaku.com lately, but they are so lengthy and time consuming that it's taking me more than a day to complete just one episode. I just want to get this out of the way so that I can concentrate on other things for the time being. For my birthday this September, I'm hoping to get Rouruni Kenshin, which has 96 episodes and I can get dubbed for about 100, and I may do something with that, but I'm still thinking about it. In other news with theOtaku, I'm now a super moderator on their forums, better known as category moderator now. I look over the Art & Design category, which has three forums, but I can use my "powers" all over the boards.

Other than my dorky hobbies [-.-] I've been playing soccer on my recreational team, and we're not doing too bad. We have won every game except again one of the worst teams and arguably the very best. The one against the bad team was a fluke, and we wern't playing very hard, but nothing could have been done about the good team. They ended up winning 3 to 2, and claimed that we were the best team that they have played all season, which is a good thing. This weekend we have two games, and no practice, so wish us luck.

Well, that's it for now. I hope to start updating much more frequently. :)

Blog Blog Blog. I havn't posted here in a while, and I'm sorry. My computer is acting up and I can't load most of the pages on the internet. Let me just say a few things before it happens again.

Suprise

Well, about a week ago I found out that a friend is...well, homosexual. I havn't talked to him about it, but it's kind of troubling me. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them, and it's none of my buisness, but it's a lot easier if they had told the truth in the first place. For example, if I'm talking to a girl and then I learn that they have a boyfriend or something, it comes as kind of a shock, and I kind of want to avoid them. The same goes with this, as I was shocked and wished they had said so in the first place. If I already knew a girl had a boyfriend, it's really my choice to start talking to them, and don't mind if they are honest from the beginning. Again, I have nothing against homosexuals, which isn't my buisness anyway, but I wish that they would have told me in the beginning. *shrug*

Grades

Lately, off and on, I've been getting punished for grades, and because my parents blame my new computer, I would some times take a day or two off. Recently, I was punished for having a 61 in Science. Two days later, and I had an 80. Supposedly the teacher hadn't put in some last minute grades, heh.

Life

Life's been pretty good. I've been trying to be more active at OtakuBoards and keep a high status on my moderating job, but, as usual, not everyone likes what I am doing. Granted, everything I am doing is within my boundaries, but some just want to have fun without following the rules that the boards have set forth. In other OtakuBoards news, I won graphic artist of the year, and that was a real surprise. I saw a few votes for myself, but I never thought I would beat Kinetic. He's a lot more active than me anyway, and should have gotten first. On theOtaku, I need to finish up my new section, but don't expect it up soon. :-/ I saw The Recruit yesterday, and I thought it was a good movie. Very realistic with nice action scenes, but it got kind of confusing at times, and I'm wondering if it would help if I was a bit older, lol. Deffinitly a film to watch more than once. I'll post again when I get my faster connection back (even though I only run on a 56k anyway).

Kevin Hates Me

Well, today I don't really feel that good. Kevin thinks that I hate him because of some things I jokingly said in a chat yesterday, and Cloud seems to have told him that I said something about him in the staff forum. I actually didn't say anything about him personally, but I'm sure Cloud probably twisted that up somehow. Anyway, I was talking in this chat about an hour ago and suddenly Kevin comes in, and I just froze. The chat between us is below. Kevin is Rick Hunter.

ElCrazyWhiteBoy: It's the man
RickHunter2045: Hello
Syk3 26: What's up man?
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: yo, greg was saying all this stuff
Syk3 26: Hey!
RickHunter2045: not much
RickHunter2045: Yeah I heard
Syk3 26: shut your trap, CWB! -_-
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: like, how he is dying to battle you in anime knowledge
RickHunter2045: someone emailed me
RickHunter2045: yesterday
RickHunter2045: saying he was talking a lot of crap
Syk3 26: huh?
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: whoa, oops, lol
RickHunter2045: and trying to pretend he was me
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: Didn't mean to stumble into this
Syk3 26: Dude, what the fuck
Syk3 26: I wasn't saying anything bad at all
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: yes, that was a lie
RickHunter2045: and Cloud also said you were saying some choice comments
RickHunter2045: too
Syk3 26: I don't have anything against you at all
Syk3 26: I say stuff like that a lot
Syk3 26: it's a joke
Syk3 26: like someone says...
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: lol
Syk3 26: ...I wish I was Kevin...
RickHunter2045: -_- frankly what you said didn't seem like a joke from what that idiot said
Syk3 26: ...and I'd go "I'm Kevin"
Syk3 26: that guy was taking things quite seriously
Syk3 26: I fool around like that all the time
Syk3 26: like, say, someone was talking about puppies
Syk3 26: I'd make something up and go, "I had a puppy
Syk3 26: "but it got stuck in my electric fence
Syk3 26: "and died"
RickHunter2045: -_- quite frankly I'm not going to believe your excuses
Syk3 26: I had no puppy
Syk3 26: dude
Syk3 26: I have nothing against you at all
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: can we drop this
Syk3 26: you can ask anyone here
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: it's supposed to be a fun chat
RickHunter2045: -_- well I dislike people talking behind my back that's all
RickHunter2045: I drop it for your sake charles
ElCrazyWhiteBoy: ah good
Syk3 26: and BTW, the only reason I didn't vote for you in Anime Otaku is because I don't want to feel like I'm leavin someone out
Syk3 26: so I decided not to vote in areas like that

I think it could have been worse, but luckily Charles stepped in and dropped it. I kind of have a history with Kevin...I used to work on his message boards, but he fired me and I suppose I held a grudge for a while, but I'm over that now for the most part. The Anime Otaku vote is regarding the Otaku Awards on the OtakuBoards, which you can find under the links. You vote for people in different categories, and for the Anime Otaku award, I didn't really want to choose one person over another because there were many great candidates, which I did with a few other award positions as well.

Life

Life is pretty good otherwise. I saw Nation Security the other day, and it was okay. It was good for a few laughs, but that's it. The story is basically a movie about two cops who are after the bad guys in revenge for the death of one of their partners. Mix that up with a few jokes here and there, and some racial comments, and that's your movie. There's no school tommarrow because of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, so that's cool; I can especially catch up on my homework. I have another section to do on theOtaku.com, and I'm doing my best not to get fired from my OtakuBoards staff position. Other staff will know what I mean.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. It's been a long night, and I'm ready to sleep until noon.

Bah, I'm new to this blog stuff, and I'm having a hard time editing the template the way I like it. I can't really find a decent skin, so I chose this one from BlogSkins.com. If anyone has some cool skins, then email me at Syk3_26@hotmail.com or AIM me at Syk326. Thanks!

EDIT: I found a cool red one. I'll be sticking with this for a while. ^_^

Hey, I'm Greg, and this is my blog. The name Syk3 is a name that I use when I go to message boards and stuff. I'm 15 years old, going on 16, and currently in the 10th grade. My interests include computers, internet, soccer, video games, and anime. You will have the pleasure of listening to my venting over the coming months. Have a day. *_*
